The expedition will begin in January 2006 and the site will be fully active as the participants ride across the entire continent of Africa on motorbikes with only 2 support trucks. She managed to conquer that, but is now undergoing treatment for another lethal cancer, Waldenstrom&amp;rsquo;s Non-Hodgkins Lymhoma, a rare blood cancer, that&amp;rsquo;s often slow moving and treatable, but currently, an incurable disease. She has decided to g to battle with a number of treatments, including weeks of chemotherapy, doses of Rituxan, vitamins and minerals, herbal infusions, IV treatments, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine and needs help to raise $58,500 to pay for them. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Babz is a truly amazing person - and well-loved in Vancouver&amp;rsquo;s acting community. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;She has contributed countless volunteer hours to many causes, including Starry Night&amp;rsquo;s AIDS Benefit, Burnaby Youth Custody Facility and The Centre for Integrated Healing.
